11.3 Decommissioning, storage

If you will not be using the unit temporarily, unplug the telephone cable from the wall socket
and from the telephone socket in the base unit. Unplug the power supply plugs for the base
unit and the handsets from the 230 V sockets.
Remove the batteries from the handsets. If the unit has not been used for some time, replace
the rechargeable batteries with equivalent new batteries when bringing the unit back into use.
Store the devices and the batteries in a dry place that is not too warm.

11.4 Disposal (environmental protection)

The unit and the rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in normal
household refuse at the end of its service life. This is indicated by this symbol on
the product and/or on the packaging. Take the device to a collection point for
recycling electrical and electronic devices. Some of the materials in the product
can be recycled there. You can help the environment by recycling some parts or
raw materials from used products. Also dispose of packaging materials in an environmentally
friendly way. Please contact your local authorities if you need more information about
collection points in your area.
