    Check the door Check that the door of the dishwasher fits properly: open the door a little and let it go. Does it stay exactly where you released it? If not, you should check the installation instructions or consult the installer.

    Follow the dosage instructions on the deter- gent package. If your machine is fitted with a water softener, dispense as for soft water. Pour the dishwasher detergent into the dish- washer detergent compartment. There is one compartment for pre-wash and one for main wash, see Dispenser.

    However, if you have calciferous (hard) water, lime deposits can form in the dishwasher. In this case, run a normal wash program with two tablespoons of citric acid in the dishwasher detergent compartment.
