5. Software
On startup of the projector after an upgrade of its software, the controller checks the software of the different
boards and modules in the projector. If an old software version in one of these parts is detected, it is replaced
by the new version. This is indicated on the LCD module by the message: upgrading. During this upgrading
sequence, power and cooling may be switched automatically!

This software is optional. This means that this software will only be available if this option has been ordered and activated!
5.2.2 Description of the Desktop Integration software
Description
It is possible to connect the projector to a local network and control it form a computer in the same local network. Special Desktop
Integration software has been developed to do the following actions on the projector using your computer:
• selecting sources
• creating, saving and displaying layouts
• adjusting settings of each of the sources

A licence file is needed to activate the Desktop Integration software on your computer. Copying the Desktop Integration software to
another computer will require a new licence file. Contact our Helpdesk or our Software Engineer to receive this licence file.

How to display the Desktop Integration software version?
1. On your computer, select START on the task bar
2. In the appearing window, select Control Panel
3. Select Add or Remove Programs in the appearing window
4. Scroll to the Barco program to see the version displayed.
