Section 3 - Configuration
Secure your Wi-Fi network manually and/or access Advanced Settings, from the Wi-Fi Settings page. Go
to Settings > Wi-Fi. You can configure the settings for both the 2.4 GHz and 5GHz bands on this page.
Wi-Fi Network Name Enter a custom Name for your 2.4GHz network.
(SSID):
Password: Enter a Password for your network.
ADVANCED SETTINGS
Security Mode: Select from None or WPA/WPA2-Personal.
802.11 Mode: Displays the current 802.11 Mode as described below:
802.11b Only - if all of your wireless clients are 802.11b.
802.11g Only - if all of your wireless clients are 802.11g.
802.11n Only - if all of your wireless clients are 802.11n.
Mixed 802.11g/b - if you are using both 802.11g and
802.11b wireless clients.
Mixed 802.11n/g - if you are using both 802.11n and
802.11g wireless clients.
Mixed 802.11b/g/n - if you are using a mix of 802.11b,
802.11g, and 802.11n wireless clients.
Wi-Fi Channel: You may select a channel setting from the drop-down list
to fit an existing wireless network. By default the channel
is set to Auto.
Transmission Power: Select from High, Medium, or Low.
Channel Width: Select either Auto 20/40 MHz or 20 MHz.
