This quick-start will guide you through the set-up of your Contour Ab Belt. You will
need the Ab belt, MX9 device, lead-wires, 4 AAA batteries and the 4 Gel Pad Garment
electrodes. Before you begin your session please read through the manual.

Remove the MX9 device
from the package. Slide
off the battery lid in a
downward motion.

Insert all four (4) AAA
batteries as shown inside
the bottom of the battery
compartment. Replace the
battery cover. Set aside.
Back of belt- Left
Back of belt- Right
Remove the blue tip lead-wire from the

package and insert the single end into the
hole in the left side of the ab belt. Insert the black
tip, single end, lead-wire into the hole on the right
side of the ab belt.

Slide your hand into the front pouch of the ab
belt and pull the lead-wire ends out of the
pouch. Make sure not to pull the wires out of the
back of the belt.
Turn the belt over to the back side.

Remove the gel pads from the packet.
Remove the 2-part plastic liner from the first gel
pad and discard. The gray side goes on the belt.
Note: If you have a belly button ring please remove it before using the ab belt

Starting with the back left
side of the ab belt, stick the
gel pad down within the white
oval. The gel pad connector
should be facing the bottom edge
of the belt. Repeat steps 5 and 6
for placing remaining gel pads
along the back of the ab belt.
Plug the lead wires

Remove the gel pad
plastic covers and save
them so they can be reapplied
after your session. Leave the gel
pads stuck to the belt after the
session, this will allow you to
avoid steps 5-8 for your next
25-30 sessions.
Important: Make sure the black side of the gel pad goes directly
against your skin otherwise you will not get muscle stimulation.
Center the ab belt on

your stomach. Your belly
button should be between the
two center electrodes. The ab
belt
should
be
vertically between your hip
bone and your lowest rib. Wrap
the belt around your waist and
fasten it down on the hook and
loop fabric.
Insert the plug end of the lead-wire into the

bottom of the MX9 device. Make sure they
are connected securely (

CHANGING THE PROGRAM MODE
If you would like to go to a different program use the left "▲/▼" to change
the program mode. At anytime during your session you can change your
program mode by pressing Start/Pause and using your left ▲/▼". Press the
Start/Pause button to begin.

to the warning chapter in this manual if you have

Push the On/Off
button.
The device will automatically be set for the
RESISTANCE program, Level 1 (or the last program
you completed).
SELECT LEVEL
We recommend starting at "Level 1".
This is already highlighted so simply push the Start/

Changing the Program Level
At anytime during your session you can change
your program level by pushing the Start/Pause
button and using your right ▲/▼" to change the
program level from 1-5. Press the Start/Pause
button to begin.
Turn Up the Intensity

When the program starts, the Intensity Levels
will begin to rise slowly up to 10% and stop.
Using the "▲" end of the toggles, increase the
intensity to your maximum comfort level. The
left toggle controls the left side of your body and
the right toggle controls the right side of your body.
