Selecting XTE Alarm

The XTE (Cross Track Error) alarm will notify you when you have gone off
your set course.
While viewing the Alarm/Message screen,
highlight the XTE ALARM and press
ENTER. A pop-up screen will appear with
your choices for alarm settings of OFF, 100,
250, 500 feet, 0.2, 0.5 and 1.0 miles. High-
light your selection and press ENTER. The
alarm will sound when the GPS position is off
your set course by the distance you have
chosen. The alarm will sound until you turn it
off or the condition is corrected.
The default is OFF.

Selecting Proximity Alarm

The Proximity alarm will sound when you are within the proximity of any
waypoints you have chosen that are not on the active route or GOTO.
While viewing the Alarm/Message screen,
highlight the PROXIMITY ALARM and
press ENTER. A pop-up screen will appear
with your choices for alarm settings of OFF,
100, 250, 500 feet, 0.2, 0.5 and 1.0 miles.
Highlight your selection and press ENTER.
