Adding new device
Adding device connected to local network
The devices connected to local network such as Network
camera, 1 channel/4 channel video server and DVR appear
automatically or the list of device newly connected to local
network or the device which changed its IP address can shown
using <Search> button.
In case of remote not local, input process is required.
Adding remote device with static IP address
Because remote device can not be searched by <Search>
button, the IP address configured on the main frame of device
should be input precisely. To add device, click <Server Add>
button.
Please configure the group, name, IP, Password of device to be
registered and register to group list by clicking <Apply> button.
Adding remote device with dynamic IP address
Dynamic IP is mainly used in xDSL, cable modem and DHCP. If the
device uses line with dynamic IP and 'Use SWR' of Add server
window is not activated, as the IP address assigned can not be
known, it is not possible to connect from Viewer. To solve this
problem, SWR server is used.
If 'Dynamic IP' is selected on IP property section, IP input
column of below input section is inactivated and using SWR is
checked.
After Configuring and applying input information such as
group, name, MAC and Password as above, the device using
dynamic IP can be registered.
