8.7.5 Removal of the Back Chassis Assembly (E, M)
1. Dual Display version:
Gently separate the Back Chassis Assembly (E) from the Main Chassis Assembly (K) to allow
access to disconnect the flex connection between both chassis. This connector is located
near the top of the radio. Use the Black Stick to disconnect the connector as shown in
Figure 8-22.
Top Display version:
Back Chassis Assembly (M) has no connections and can be removed by just separating the
the two chassis apart.

Pull the flex connector vertically upwards by using black stick
through the pull belt to avoid damaging it.
