CLUTCH
Clutch adjustment may be required if the
motorcycle
stalls whe[ shifting into gear
or tends to creep; or if the clutch slips,
c au si n g a cc e ie ra t io n r o l ag behind engjne
speed.
Normal clutch lever free play is 10 20 mm
(3/8-3/4 in) at the lever.
l. Loosen the lock nut (2) ard tum the
clutch cable adjuster (3). Tighten the
lock nut (2), and check ad.jrlstment,
2. If the correct free play cannot
obtained using the cable adjuster
loosen the lock nut (2) and tum
cable adjuster in all the way.

3. At the lower end of the cable,
the lock nut (4), and turn the
adjuster (5) to give about 16 mm (
