. REAR WHEEL REMOVAL
iI. Place the motorcycle
on its center

fender (2).
3. Remove the rear bumper (3) by re-
moving the four bolts (4).
4. Support the reat wheel so it will not
drop when the shock absorbers are dis-
connected.
5. Remove the cotter pin (5) from the
axie and remove the axle nut (6).
6. Remove the axle holding bolt (7) and
brake disc cover (8).
7. Remove the lower shock absorber nut
(9: dght side) and bolt (10: left side).
8. Raise the rear wheel so the axle will
clear the muffler.
9. Pull out the rear axle ( 1 1).
CAUTION :
* Support the caliper assembly attd swing-
arm beJbre rcmoying the rear axle so
that it does not hang from the brake
hose. Do not twist the bruke hose.
