Manual Dual Climate Control

(if equipped)
To cool the vehicle interior more quickly
on very hot days, open the windows just
long enough to let the hot air escape.
For maximum cooling, choose the
coolest temperature setting, activate the
Recirculate and A/C buttons on the
instrument panel and place the A/C
mode knob in the Vent mode.
The driver and front passenger can
adjust the dual zone temperature con-
trols to individual comfort levels.
See Section 3 of your Owner Manual.

Automatic Dual Climate Control

(if equipped)
Activating the System
To turn the system on, press the driver's
temperature knob. To turn the system
off, press the passenger's temperature
knob.
Automatic Operation
Push the AUTO button (driver's temper-
ature knob) and adjust the knob to the
desired temperature to set automatic air
delivery mode, fan speed, A/C and recir-
culation functions.
Adjust the temperature controls individu-
ally to the desired driver and passenger
settings. The passenger's temperature is
based on the driver's temperature. For
each bar (+ or –) that is illuminated on
the passenger temperature indicator, the
passenger's temperature will be warmer
or cooler than the driver's temperature.
In cold weather, the fan may not turn on
right away, as the system is waiting for
the engine to warm up. Adjusting the
temperature to the highest setting will
not warm the vehicle more quickly.
Manual Operation

tion of the Fan control to raise or lower
fan speed.
VENT: Press the VENT button to turn
the A/C off and to turn the outside air

edly to select one of the following airflow
delivery modes:

tion can keep unwanted odors out of
your vehicle or can help to speed cool-
ing of the vehicle when used in conjunc-
tion with the air conditioning system.

Defog/Defrost button to clear the wind-
shield and front side windows of mist,
