(Front Cabinet, Tub, and Drum)

NOTE!
There is a piece of adhesive foam
tape along the top rail on both sides of
the machine. This is to prevent noise
from vibration. It may become stuck to
the top, so you'll need to use an extra
push to get the top plate loose.
1. Remove the top plate.
(See page 46.)
2. Remove the control panel.
(See page 46.)
3. Remove four screws that
secure the front panel.
4. Remove the screw that secures
the filter cover. Be sure to drain
the water. (See page 9.)
5. Use a flat screwdriver or a putty
knife to loosen the filter cover
and pull it out.
6. Stick the screwdriver into the
cover slot and pry it out
sideways to free it.
