Each power level is allocated a maximum operating duration
of between 1 and 8 hours. The cooktop will switch itself off
automatically once this duration has elapsed. A message will
appear in the display and a tone will sound.
^ Touch an active symbol to clear the display.
You can now use the cooktop again.
The cooktop will switch itself off automatically if the touch
display is covered, e.g. by boiled-over liquid or an item
placed on it.
^ Clean the touch display or remove the item.
You can now use the cooktop again.
All the induction coils and the cooling elements for the
electronics are fitted with an overheating protection
mechanism. This mechanism automatically restricts the
power or switches it off before the induction coils or the
cooling elements get too hot.
A fault message will appear in the display. The cooktop can
be used again when the fault message has gone out.
The overheating mechanism can be triggered by:
– heating up an empty pan.
– fat or oil being heated up on a high power level.
– insufficient ventilation to the underside of the appliance.
