~
Do not drop anything on the ceramic surface. Even a light object
could cause damage in certain circumstances.
~
This appliance is fitted with a cooling fan. If a drawer is fitted
directly underneath the cooktop, ensure that there is sufficient space
between the drawer and its contents and the underside of the
appliance in order to ensure sufficient ventilation of the cooktop.
Do not store pointed or small items or paper in the drawer. They
could get in through the ventilation slots or be sucked into the
housing by the fan and damage the fan or impair cooling.
~
Do not use a steam cleaning appliance to clean this cooktop. The
steam could reach electrical components and cause a short circuit.
~
If the cooktop is built in over a pyrolitic oven, the cooktop should
not be used whilst the pyrolitic process is being carried out, as this
could trigger the overheating protection mechanism on the cooktop
(see relevant section).
