Before you begin: Package Contents Your package includes the following: Ethernet Switch Safety and Quick Start Guide (5-port 10/100Base-T) Certifications Information AC Power Adapter Extended Warranty and Registration Card... - Page 3 Step Hardware Installation Select an appropriate location. Connect your workstation to any available RJ-45 port on the switch using twisted- pair cable. All end-node devices must be within 328 ft (100 meters) of the connected hub. Using the hub in a stand-alone configuration, you can network up to 5 workstations. To connect a computer directly to the switch, plug one end of the cable into the switch then plug the other end of the cable into the computer’s network adapter.
