3. Procedure for global address search
The [GLOBAL ADDRESS SEARCH] key appears in the initial screen of SCANNER mode. Touch this key to
display the global address search screen. Enter the keyword that you wish to use to search for the address,
and then touch the [SEARCH] key to access the directory database in the LDAP server and begin searching.

The keyword entered in the global address search screen appears here.
Search results
The search results appear as destination keys. If there are too many destinations to fit on one screen, use
the / keys to display the remaining destinations.
[DETAIL] key
Touch this key after selecting a destination in
[CONDITION SETTINGS] key
Touch this key to return to the initial screen of SCANNER mode.
For the entire transmission procedure, see the Operation manual (for network scanner) (pages 8 to 9).
[ADD SELECTED] key
Touch this key to add an address selected in
[ADDRESS REVIEW] key
Touch this key to display a list of the addresses that have been selected as destinations of the transmission.
This screen is used to check the addresses and delete any addresses if needed.
[SEARCH AGAIN] key
If no matching e-mail addresses were found, press this key to return to the global address search screen
and search again using a different keyword.
[LOCAL ADDRESS] key
Touch this key to switch to the one-touch key screen, which contains stored addresses. Addresses can
also be selected from this screen for use in a broadcast transmission. Note that the name of this key, which
is called the [ADDRESS DIRECTORY] key in the Operation manual (for network scanner), has been changed
to "LOCAL ADDRESS BOOK".
NOTE
E-mail addresses appearing in the search results cannot be stored in one-touch keys.
