DX-408/DX-408i Digital Key System Installation
5. Install the new EPROMs with caution in the designated locations (ODD1 and EVEN1 for
DX-408, ODD1, ODD2, EVEN1 and EVEN2 for DX-408i) according to the diagram.
Ensure the orientation notches on the EPROMs line up with the notches on the EPROM
sockets.

6. Turn the MEM switch to the off position for 10 seconds then to the ON position
7. Turn on the power at the GPO and the system.
8. In the case where an external battery was installed, re-connect the cable for battery
connection.
9. Close the front and side covers of the DX-408/DX-408i system.
10. Initialise the system as per a new installation – MMC 812 (Set Country Code) etc
11. Reprogram the system using PCMMC or manually.
