DX-408/DX-408i Digital Key System Installation
5. Cabling
All the lines are connected through the modular jacks of the DX-408/DX-408i digital key
system underneath the side cover. The locations of each modular jack are shown below.
Cables to the KSU require terminating to various modular jacks as follows:

BRI 1/BRI2 ports: RJ-45 cable (DX-408i only, 8pin)

CO1.2/CO3.4 ports: RJ-11 cable (6 pin, DX-408 only)
!
MISC port: RJ-11 cable (6 pin)
!
DLI, SLI ports: RJ-11 cable (4 pin)
All cabling is to be provided by the installer.
Tie the Cables
It is recommended that the cables be tied using the cable
ties contained in the system packaging.
