Camera
Does the camera have the menu settings you expect?
Are you recording 50Mb/s 422 full HD?
Have you set i or p correctly for your production?
Have you selected the correct scene file? Is your material going for a full grade (GG) or not
(GU)?
Are the switches in all the positions you expect? Shutter (off), gain (low), ND (1), White balance
(A), sound settings.
Have you set the viewfinder? Eyepiece focus, brightness, contrast and peaking (fully down).
Do you have the timecode and clip name you require?
Lens
Have you checked the back focus?
Is the Macro off?
Is the x2 convertor off?
Is the front of the lens clean?
Is Iris on manual?
Do you want zoom on manual or servo?
Kit
Do you have enough charged batteries?
Do you have enough SxS cards to record onto?
Do you have everything and does it fit together?
Do a test recording of pictures and sound then play it back
Have you completed a risk assessment?
