Blood pressure was
not measured.
The cuff was not
deflated properly.
Blood pressure was
not measured.
The cuff pressure
exceeded
299 mmHg.
Measurement was
interrupted.
Measurement was
not possible due to
insufficient inflation.
Blood pressure was
not measured due to
an irregular pulse
wave or similar
problem.
The pulse wave is
too weak to detect.
Measurement was
not possible.
Error Content
Required cuff pressure
was not achieved within
the allotted time after
inflation began.
Measurement was not
possible due to one of
the following errors.
• The speed of deflation
was too fast during
measurement.
• The speed of deflation
was too slow during
measurement.
• The measurement was
not finished in the
allotted time after
starting measurement.
The device cannot
measure.
• The cuff pressure
exceeded 299 mmHg.
The device cannot
measure.
• The cuff is not inflating
sufficiently.
An irregular pulse wave
or similar problem
prevented the blood
pressure from being
measured.
The pulse wave was too
weak to measure the
blood pressure.
Action
• Is the air tube connecting the
cuff and the main unit loose?
Make sure that it is properly
connected before measuring.
• Is the air tube connecting the
cuff and the main unit bent or
kinked? Make sure that it is
pulled straight before
measuring.
• Inflation will take longer than
normal if the cuff is wrapped
loosely around the arm. Make
sure that the cuff is wrapped
properly around the arm when
taking a measurement.
• Is air leaking from the cuff
bladder? If yes, replace the cuff.
• Is the air tube connecting the
cuff and the main unit bent or
kinked? Make sure that it is
pulled straight before
measuring.
• Check to make sure that the
range, index and the artery
position marks on the cuff are
aligned properly.
• Make sure that the patient does
not move their arm or body
during measurement.
• Measurement cannot be taken
properly if the cuff is wrapped
too loosely around the arm.
• Make sure that the cuff is
wrapped properly (snug) around
the arm when taking a
measurement.
