2. Installing ZTE WiMAX CM
Installing ZTE WiMAX CM software and connecting your WiMAX USB MODEM require just a few
simple steps.
2.1. System Requirements
The system requirements provided here reflect only the standards required to install and run ZTE
WiMAX CM.
Operating System: Mac OS Ver 10.4.8-10.5.6(Power PC is not supported).
JRE version: The version should be 1.5 or above.
Ports: One available USB port.
System Configuration:
Processor: 466 MHz or higher (1 GHz or higher recommended).
Hard Disk: 50 MB available disk space required.
RAM: 256 MB minimum (512 MB or higher recommended).
Storage: 50 MB available disk drive space (100 MB or more recommended).
2.2. Installing ZTE WiMAX CM
Connect modem with your PC by the supplied modem cables. Download the
package, double click it, and then follow the following steps to install:
1) Press "Continue" button on the "Welcome" page.
2) Click "Continue" on the "Read Me" page.
3) Read the license agreement and accept the conditions.
4) Click "Install" to perform an installation of this software on "Macintosh HD" disk.
5) Please enter login and password to be authenticated, and click "OK" for install.
6) Click "Continue Installation" and wait till the installation requires you to close.
7) Click "Close" to finish software installation.
Note: Software installation requires administrative permission on your computer.
After the installation, select Finder – Applications – ZTE WiMAX and there will be a "ZTE WiMAX CM"
program listed in, the modem is ready to work normally.
2.3. Uninstalling ZTE WiMAX CM
Close the application program before the software uninstalling. Select Finder – Applications –
ZTEWiMAX – WiMAX_Uninstall to uninstall the software.
