3. Understanding ZTE WiMAX CM

3.1. Connection Status

The Connection Manager includes the following statuses:
Please insert card – The modem is not connected.
Searching – Connection Manager is searching for available network.
Waiting for Connection – Networks is available but modem is not connected to it. Click "Connect" to
initiate a connection.
Connecting – Connection Manager is establishing the connection.
Connected – Connected to the network.
Shutdown – Radio is turned off. When Shutdown appears, all radio connections are disabled. Click
"Connect" button can wake up it from Shutdown and initiate a connection if the network is available.

3.2. Connect Interface Introduction

BSID: Base station ID
CINR: Carrier to Interference plus Noise Ratio
RSSI: Received Signal Strength Indication
Operator: The name of Operator.
Connected Time: The time connected to the network.
In: Transmitted DOWNLINK Data bytes.
Out: Transmitted UPLINK Data bytes.
The "Connect" button connects to WiMAX network.
The "Disconnect" button disconnects from WiMAX network.
The Signal bar shows signal strength if network connected.
The Status bar shows the following statuses: Please insert card, Searching, Waiting for Connection,
Connecting, Connected and Shutdown.

3.3. Setting Interface Introduction

Identity: Input your login from the activation card.
Password: Input your password.
Apply: Save the information of login and password.
