Lowering the Midgate

(SUT only)
1. Lower the rear
glass by using
the Global
Express-Down
button located
on the driver
door panel, or by
using the rear
glass button
located on the instrument panel to the
left of the steering column.
2. Pull the bench
seat to the
forward position;
then fold the
seatback flat.
3. Press the
electric Midgate
button located
on the Midgate
to release it.
4. Fold the Midgate
flat; then flip over the ship step.

Transfer Case
Buttons
Your vehicle's
transfer case
buttons (shown
here) allow you
to shift into
and out of the
various four-
wheel-drive
modes.
Locking Rear Axle
The locking rear axle can give you addi-
tional rear-wheel traction when driving in
off-road conditions such as mud, snow,
sand, steep
hills and
uneven terrain.
This feature
can only be
engaged when
the transfer
case is in the
4LO Locked
mode. It is rec-
ommended the
axle be locked
when the vehicle is stopped. Please
note that the locker will automatically
deactivate above 20 mph.
