gAS INSTALLATION

WARNING

Risk of fire or explosion. Do not use open flame for testing.
Support gas control when attaching pipe to prevent bending gas line.
Always light the pilot whether for the first time or if the gas supply has run out with the glass door
opened or removed. Assure that a continuous gas flow is at the burner before closing the door. For
gas and electrical locations, see "DIMENSIONS" section.
All gas connections must be contained within the fireplace when complete.
Do not connect either the wall switch, thermostat or gas valve to electricity (110 volts).
High pressure will damage valve.
NOTE: All gas connections must be contained within the heater when complete.
1. Move the heater into position and secure to the floor.
2. The heater is designed to accept 3/8" gas supply line. The heater is equipped with a manual shut-off valve.
3. Connect the gas supply in accordance to local codes. In the absense thereof, install according to the
National Installation Code.
4. When connecting the gas line to the valve ensure not to kink the line and support the valve.
5. Check for gas leaks by brushing on a soap and water solution. DO NOT USE OPEN FLAME.
