Installing printer software

You can install the printer software using the CD that came with your printer, or you can
download it from the Lexmark Web site at www.lexmark.com.
Using the CD that came with your printer

Close all open software applications.

When your desktop appears, insert the printer software CD.
The Lexmark Installation screen appears.

Click Install and Agree.

Choose the country or region closest to you, and then click Continue.

Click Yes to print an alignment page.
An alignment page prints.
If the alignment page doesn't print, make sure:

You installed the print cartridges correctly.

If the paper is jammed, you follow the instructions on the error message that
displays on your screen.
