2-sided printing method

• The following two types of 2-sided printing methods are available.

5.3.1 Process of 2-sided printing with a single sheet of media resident in the
system
Operation 1
• A sheet of media is fed in and the image of
the second page of the print job is printed.
Operation 2
• Just before the 1-sided printed page moves
past the exit roller, the direction of rotation of
the exit roller is reversed and the 1-sided
printed page is conveyed into the duplex
option.
Operation 3
• The 1-sided printed page being transported
through the duplex option is stopped briefly
and then fed into the main body.
