Adjusting the recording level

You can adjust the recording level to suit the recording conditions.

NOTE
Use the AUDIO menu Auto Gain item to set how the recording level is
automatically adjusted.
1.
Slide the GAIN switch to the MANUAL
position.
This turns automatic recording level
adjustment off.
2.
Use the MANUAL GAIN switch to
adjust the recording level.
H High sensitivity (for field recording)
M Medium sensitivity (for solo and
chamber music performances)
L Low sensitivity (for band
performances and concerts)
NOTE
The MANUAL GAIN setting also
affects external mics and line inputs.
