Recommended Action
Reconnect keyboard with computer
turned off.
Check connector for bent or missing
pins.
Ensure that none of the keys are
depressed.
Replace keyboard.
Run Computer Setup and diagnostic
utilities.
Open hood, press the power button, and
see if the processor fan spins. If not
spinning, make sure the fan cable is
plugged into the system board. Ensure
the heatsink is properly seated.
If the heatsink is properly installed and
the fan connected but does not spin,
replace the heatsink-fan assembly.
