Attaching the Camera Strap
Attach the camera strap to the eyelet as shown below (2 eyelets
available).

Insert the Battery
Insert a Rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL5 (supplied) into the
camera.

Open the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.

Insert the battery.
Use the battery to push the orange battery latch up

and fully insert the battery

When the battery is fully
inserted, the battery latch will lock it in place.
