The first test

1. Test the Fairo, if possible, before completely finishing the surround.
2. Clean the glass before igniting the appliance for the first time.
Grease marks caused by fingers or other material can burn into the
glass. Once marks have been burned into the glass, they cannot be
removed by cleaning afterwards (see section 7.2).
3. Ignite the Fairo (see section 6.2 / 6.3). If you experience any
problems, refer to chapter 8. The first time the appliance is ignited it
may take quite some time to obtain a flame because of the amount
of air in the gas pipe.
All Fairo appliances have been tested in the factory. In the event of a

problem, it is quite easy to access the gas regulation

When the Fairo is ignited in the beginning you may notice the smell

of enamel. This odour will disappear on its own after a while.
The enamel will only fully harden after the appliance has been used
