5.1

Placing the decorative elements

Once the Fairo has been connected, the ceramic logs or ceramic stones
can be placed.
Do not place ceramic logs, chips or Kal-Glow near the
ignition/ionisation pins; ceramic stones can be placed here. If the
decorative elements are placed incorrectly in the Fairo a
hazardous situation or incorrect ignition may be the result or an
error code (8, 12 or 13) may be generated.
Ceramic logs/Chips/Kal-Glow
Place the ceramic logs and chips supplied with the Fairo. Only cover the
burner plate, not the burner and/or ionisation pins.
Position the ceramic logs (section 5.1.1).
1.
Cover the cover plate met chips.
2.
Cover the burner with the Kal-Glow supplied with the appliance.
3.
Stretch the Kal-Glow until it has the required length. This gives an
attractive glowing effect. Ensure the Kal-Glow does not come into
contact with the ionisation pin, otherwise error code 13 will be
generated.
White stones
Place the ceramic stones in the combustion area. The burner may only
be covered by a single layer of stones.
