Connecting the power terminal

f Connect the cables to the terminal board using the compressed ring terminal.
f Connect the rated cables only.
f Connect using a wrench which is able to apply the rated torque to the screws.
f If the terminal is loose, fire may occur caused by arc. If the terminal is connected too firmly, the terminal may be
damaged.

Installing the earth wire

f Earthing must be done by your installation specialist for your safety.
f Use the earth wire by referring to the specification of the electric cable for the outdoor unit.
Earthing the power cable
f The standard of earthing may vary according to the rated voltage and installation place of the Air to Water Heat
Pump.
f Earth the power cable according to the following.

- Earthing must be done by your installation specialist.
- Check if the earthing resistance is lower than 100Ω. When installing a circuit breaker that can cut the electric
circuit in case of a short circuit, the allowable earthing resistance can be 30~500Ω.
* Note 2) Earthing at dry place
- The earthing resistance should be lower than 100Ω. (Even in worst case it should be lower than 250Ω.)
