Camera LED Status Lights
Problem
Green ready light does
not turn on and the
camera does not work.
Red blinking light
comes on but camera
does not take a
picture.
Green ready light
blinks.
Red ready light comes
on.
Green ready light is
blinking and camera
does not take a picture
Cause
Batteries are low or
dead.
Camera is not
turned on.
Batteries are low.
Camera memory
card is full
Focus and
exposure are not
locked.
Flash is not
charged.
Picture is being
processed and
saved to memory
card.
Solution
Replace the batteries (page 2).
Turn on the camera (page 5).
Check the battery indicator and
replace the batteries if
necessary (page 2).
Delete pictures on the memory
card (page 31), or insert a
memory card with available
memory (page 3).
Release the Shutter button and
recompose the picture.
Wait for the flash to charge.
Resume picture taking when
the light goes off.
Wait for the picture to
complete processing.
