Cause
The memory card
was removed when
the memory card
ready light was
blinking.
Image Resolution
and Quality settings
do not take up
sufficient space to
decrease the
picture remaining
number.
The lens is dirty.
Subject or the
camera moved
while the picture
was being taken.
The subject is too
far away for the
flash to be effective.
Solution
Make sure the memory card
access light is not blinking
before removing the card.
The camera is operating
normally. Continue taking
pictures.
Clean the lens (page 65).
Hold camera steady until the
picture is taken.
Move so the subject is less than
8.2 ft (2.5 m) away.
