This section explains how to install a printer driver on your computer and how to set up the printer so that it is ready to print. The
printer driver is software that you need to use the printer. Read this section and install the printer driver correctly.
Installing from the Supplied CD-ROM/DVD-ROM
Install the printer driver from the User Software CD-ROM/DVD-ROM that is supplied with the printer. Perform the setup procedure, from
connecting the printer and your computer to installation of the printer driver.
Installing after Downloading from the Canon Website
The latest printer driver versions are available for downloading from the Canon website. Download a printer driver if, for example, the
drivers on the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM do not support the operating system of your computer.
