If you select Automatic, DHCP becomes available and assigns an IP address automatically. Installing the Printer Driver About Installing the Printer Driver To print to the network printer, you need to install the printer driver on the computer.     Since Windows Me/98 does not support LPR, standard TCP/IP printing cannot be used. However, you can print via TCP/IP using the EpsonNet Print utility included on the Software CD-ROM. First, install EpsonNet Print. Then, install the printer driver. See “About EpsonNet Print” on page 103 for more details.

Note: When you turn on the printer, the user account is temporarily accessed in the Remote Printer mode. By typing the IP address of the network interface for the URL in your browser, you can start EpsonNet Config to allow you to configure the network interface for TCP/IP, NetWare, MS Network, AppleTalk, IPP, and SNMP.
