4 Replacement Procedures
Installing the Display Mask
Install the display mask according to the following procedures and Figure 4-37.
CAUTION: When installing the display mask, the room cleanness is necessary, no dust
and operator need to wear ESD belt. Use non-woven clean wiper to clean the LCD panel
and display glass inside to keep clean and have no dust. When clean work is completely,
please check the display glass inside and LCD panel has no dust under light. After LCM
module assemble completely, please recheck between glass and panel, and Make sure
you can't see any dust under light. If you can see the dust between glass and panel,
please disassemble the LCM module and re-clean.
1. Install the display mask and lock the latches.
NOTE: When installing the display mask, ensure there is no gap between the display
mask and the display cover.
2. Secure the display mask with four 2.5x7 black flat head screws and stick four seal tapes
on the front.
