Developer Options Settings

These menus are specific for application development. Unless you have a specific reason for
changing these settings, you should leave them at the default settings.
Press Home > Menu

Activate This Device

The Activate this device menu lets you activate a new device or use additional self-service options
such as checking the status of an in-service device.
1. Press Home
> Menu
2. Follow the onscreen instructions.

About Phone

The About phone menu lets you access important phone information including your phone number,
battery status, and view legal information.
Press Home > Menu

System Update

The System update menu lets you update your PRL (preferred roaming list), your data user profile,
your Android software, and your phone firmware.
1. Press Home
> Menu
2. Select an option and follow the prompts to complete the updates. For complete system update
information see Update Your Phone.
UICC Unlock
UICC Unlock will check and enable the use of an optional SIM card.
1. Press Home
> Menu
2. Check the UICC Unlock check box.
Settings
> System settings > Developer options.
> System settings > Activate this device.
> System settings > About phone.
> System settings > System update.
> System settings > System update.
