Unsuitable Installation Sites
Following locations can cause malfunction or poor printing quality.
 Locations subject to large fluctuations in temperature or humidity
 Locations subject to shaking or vibration
 Locations where the floor is tilted, not level, or unstable
 Dusty locations
 Locations exposed to direct sunlight or near air-conditioning or heating
equipment
 Locations exposed to water or moving air
 Locations exposed to considerable electrical or magnetic noise, or other
forms of electromagnetic energy

Temperature and Humidity

Maintain the specified temperature and humidity even when the machine is not in use. If temperatures
are too high or too low, it may cause malfunction.
During operation: Temperature 20 to 32˚C (68 to 90˚F), relative humidity 35 to
80% (no condensation)
During non-operation: Temperature 5 to 40˚C (41 to 104˚F), relative humidity 20
to 80% (no condensation)
