3.12.1 Into the cordless handset

3.13 Intercom
Intercom calls can be made:
– between the cordless handset and base unit
– between cordless handsets
Page the desired unit(s) by entering the extension
number, shown in the top right of each cordless
handset's display. The base unit's extension number is 0.
3.13.1 Making intercom calls
With the cordless handset

{INTERCOM}

To page the base unit, press {0}.
To page another cordless handset, enter its
extension number ({1} or {2}).
L The destination unit will beep for 1 minute.
L To stop paging, press {OFF}.

To end the intercom call, press {OFF}.
With the base unit
You can also locate a misplaced cordless handset by
paging it (Cordless handset locator).

To page one cordless handset, enter its extension
number ({1} or {2}).
L The cordless handset will beep (be paged) for 1
minute.
L To stop paging, press {SP-PHONE} or
{INTERCOM}.

When the paged party answers, speak into {MIC}.

To end the intercom call, press {SP-PHONE} or
{INTERCOM}.
3.13.2 Answering intercom calls
With the cordless handset
When the cordless handset is being paged, it will beep
(be paged) and the ringer indicator will flash rapidly. The
display will show "Call from Base" or the paging
extension's number.

Press {TALK} or {INTERCOM} to answer the page.

To end the intercom call, press {OFF}.
With the base unit
When the base unit is being paged, it will ring and
display the paging extension's number.

Press {SP-PHONE} or {INTERCOM} to answer the
page.

To end the intercom call, press {SP-PHONE} or
{INTERCOM}.
