Turning corners
Outside corners
Use scissors to cut a 1" (2.5 cm) long strip from
3 corners of the fabric. See illustration.

Uncut corner
Starting from uncut corner _, serge down the entdre
length of the fabric side. Serge one stitch past the fabric
edge.

Raise the needle and presser foot.
Gently pull the thread chain off the chaining finger _ and
pivot the fabric.

When you sew the next side, align the cutting line with
the upper knife. The needle position should match with
the previous row of stitching.
