Replacing the Optical Drive

Before you perform any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions in the

1 Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer" on page 7.
2 Follow the instructions in "Removing the Optical Drive" on page 25.
3 Slide the new drive into the bay until it snaps securely into place.
4 Replace the M2.5 x 8-mm device security screw (optional).
