Edit a phonebook entry

You may edit any phonebook entry. However, be aware that if you download from a mobile phone again, the phonebook is
erased and replaced with the current mobile phone phonebook. If you have edited the downloaded entries on DDA200BT, those
changes are lost. To avoid losing changes made to the downloaded mobile phonebook, we suggest you edit the number in your
mobile phone, then download the phonebook.
1. In standby mode, press UP to access the phonebook.
2. Press UP/DOWN to select Home phonebook or downloaded phonebook.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select the entry you want, or search alphabetically using the alphanumeric keypad.
4. Press MENU/SELECT and use the keypad to edit the number (see writing tips in page 23) ,
5. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select the following types:

Home

Mobile

Work

Other
6. Press MENU/SELECT. The screen displays EDIT NAME. Use the keypad to enter the name (see entering names in page xx).
7. Press MENU/SELECT to save.

Edit the type of a phonebook entry

If you only want to edit the type of a phonebook entry, you can follow steps below to easily change the type of a phonebook
entry.
1. In standby mode, press UP to access the phonebook.
2. Press UP/DOWN to select Home phonebook or downloaded mobile phonebook.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to browse and select the desired phonebook entry.
4. When the phonebook entry is displayed. Enter the corresponding keys shown below to change the type accordingly. The
selected type will appear between the name and number.
Type: Press
Home * 1
Mobile * 2
Work * 3
Other * 4

Delete a phonebook entry

1. In standby mode, press UP to access the phonebook.
2. Press UP/DOWN to select Home to access Home phonebook or downloaded mobile phonebook.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN or use the alphabetical search to select the entry you want to delete.
4. Press MUTE/REMOVE, The display show Delete contact? Press OK to confirm
5. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm. The selected entry is deleted.
Note: Once a phonebook entry is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.

Remove a downloaded mobile phonebook (downloaded mobile phonebooks only)

1. In standby mode, press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Phonebook
2. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select the desired downloaded phonebook.
3. Press MENU/SELECT then UP/DOWN to select Remove PB.
4. Press MENU/SELECT. The display shows Phonebook Mobile Phone A will be erased. Press OK to confirm.
5. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm.
