If your blood glucose test result is
above 600 mg/dL, h1 will appear
on the meter display. This indi-
cates severe hyperglycemia
(high blood glucose). You
should recheck your blood glu-
cose level. If h1 again appears
on the display, call your health-
care professional immediately.
When your blood glucose test result is
above 240 mg/dL or reads h1,
"Ç" will appear on the meter
display. This message does not mean
that the system detected ketones but
that testing with a ketone test strip
may be advisable. Consult your
healthcare professional about when
and how to test for ketones.
