2. Install:
• Tie rods
TIP
Make sure that the indentation
rod faces out.
NOTICE
• After tightening the inside and outside ball
joint locknut
, make sure the tie rod
can be rotated freely through the ball joint
travel. If not, loosen the locknut
reposition the ball joint so that the tie rod
can be rotated freely. Tighten the lock-
nut to specification.
• Always use new cotter pins.
