Overview

You start with five "Home screens" on your tablet. You can "swipe" horizontally
(with your finger or the stylus) from one screen to another. The icons on your five
home screens are shortcuts to applications and other features. Tap (short-press) an
icon to open an application.
The main navigation options (on the lower-left) of the screen are Back, Home, and
Recent applications. You can use the Recent applications icon to go to an app, or
to close apps.

Pressing and long-pressing

Pressing briefly (a "short-press") on an icon or part of the screen performs an
action. A "long-press" on an item will give you additional options, similar to right-
clicking in a Windows environment. For example, long-pressing on:
an icon on the home screen—allows you to drag it to a new position, or
remove the icon altogether.
an empty area of the home screen—puts you into a "customisation" screen
where you can add apps and widgets, create a folder, change the wallpaper
and more.
a web address in a browser—lets you copy the address, or share the link in
various ways.

ONG PRESS
A "short-press" is the
equivalent of left-
clicking a computer
mouse. "Long-
pressing" is a bit like
right-clicking a
computer mouse on
an item—you get a
menu of options to
choose from.
