Replacement

This section covers the replacement procedure for the dc power distribution panel.
1. If it is not already off, remove the top cover of the dc power distribution panel.
2. Remove the shield.
3. Place the dc power distribution panel in position on the top of the rack, and install the four mounting
screws.
4. Route and attach the drawer power cables.
5. Ensure that all circuit breakers are set to off.
6. Be sure that the customer's dc power source is turned off.
7. Ensure that the customer's service provider properly connects the two -48 V dc power source cables
to the -48 V dc bus bars, and the two -48 V dc return cables to the -48 V dc return bus bars.

8. Replace the -48 V dc bus bar shield (insulation).
9. Replace the top cover of the dc power distribution panel.
