Verify that any switches or jumpers on the expansion board are set properly. For more information, see

Install the expansion board. Verify that the board is firmly seated in the slot.

Install the PCI riser cage (on page 20).

Connect all necessary internal cabling to the expansion board. For more information on these cabling

Install the access panel (on page 17).

Slide the server into the rack.

Connect the peripheral devices to the server.

Connect the power cord to the server.

Connect the power cord to the power source.

Power up the server (on page 14).

The server does not power up if the PCI riser cage is not seated properly.
