modfy the battery pack. Ths may cause heat generaton, and the
battery may rupture, emt smoke or catch fire.

s specfied. Never use a battery wth any other equpment, or for
any purpose that s not specfied n ths nstructon manual.
R DANGER! If flud from nsde the battery gets n your eyes,
blndness can result. Rnse your eyes wth clean water, wthout
rubbng them, and see a doctor mmedately.
WARNING! Immedately stop usng the battery f t emts an ab-
normal odor, heats up, or s dscolored or deformed. If any of these
condtons occur, contact your Icom dealer or dstrbutor.
WARNING! Immedately wash, usng clean water, any part of the
body that comes nto contact wth flud from nsde the battery.
WARNING! NEVER put the battery n a mcrowave oven, hgh-
pressure contaner, or n an nducton heatng cooker. Ths could
cause a fire, overheatng, or cause the battery to rupture.
CAUTION! Always use the battery wthn the specfed tempera-
ture range for the transcever (–25˚C to +55˚C; except for Chna.
–30°C to +60°C for Chna.) and the battery tself (–10˚C to +60˚C).
Usng the battery out of ts specfied temperature range wll reduce
the battery's performance and battery lfe. Please note that the
specfied temperature range of the battery may exceed that of the
transcever. In such cases, the transcever may not work properly
because t s out of ts operatng temperature range.
