Function This command assigns a file name to the BASIC program in the computer's m e m o r y
and saves it on cassette tape.
Type in

Note
This command saves only the BASIC program text (i.e., the program text displayed
by executing the LIST c o m m a n d ) ; it does n o t save any machine language program in
the machine language area.
The file name specified is recorded on tape together with the BASIC text file;
specify any name desired using u p to 16 characters. If n o file name is specified,
the program is recorded w i t h o u t a file name; however n o t e that this can make file
management difficult if more than one program is recorded on a single tape.
